The „Kachelofen“ is a traditional Franconian restaurant located in the historic old town of Bamberg, a UNESCO World Heritage city in northern Bavaria.
For more than 40 years, we have been serving classic regional dishes, freshly tapped local beers and selected Franconian wines in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our cosy dining room offers seating for around 50 guests, and during the warmer months you can enjoy our terrace overlooking Bamberg’s old town.
We are known for generous portions, authentic Franconian cuisine and friendly service – whether you visit us for lunch, dinner or a relaxed evening with friends.
